Junior Executive / Executive Customer Service
This role centers on managing customer interactions and ensuring smooth logistics operations. It involves acting as the main contact for clients, handling shipment-related inquiries, coordinating with carriers and internal teams, and ensuring all shipping documentation is accurate and compliant. The role also includes maintaining systems, collecting delivery orders (DOs), and building strong client relationships while working closely with sales and operations to meet customer needs.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing updates, getting updates from clients and resolving concerns related to shipments, delivery times, customs, and logistics.
2. Collaborate with freight carriers, customs agents, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate transportation of goods.
3. Oversee the preparation of shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations.
4. Collecting DO’s
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and foster repeat business.
6. Maintain Shipment EDI systems

Requirements
1. Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 6 months of experience in Customer Service, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and maintain client satisfaction.
4. Familiarity with logistics management systems is a plus.
5. Proficiency in English (both spoken and written); fluency in Sinhala and/or Tamil is an advantage.
